Hello from Beautiful British Columbia!

I just started my business "offically"...I have been printing with a HP5500PS UV for a few years, and am now thinking of going into solvent. I would like some recommendations from the community as to which printer would be the best "workhorse" - as I live in a remote area and to fly someone in to look at a printer would be more expensive than flying to Hawaii from Vancouver! I live in Terrace and am operating as a homebased business. Other equipment I use are a Seal Image 62 Plus laminator, a Graphtec FC7000-160cutter, and various tools of the trade such as a Seal Multicut, Neolt rotary trimmer and what-not.

I am considering a Roland SOLJET PRO III XC-540 or an Epson GS6000

I would also like to learn more about banner "finishing" tools such as a triad welder or sewing solutions that are recommended...

Anyhoo, it is great to be here! Looking forward to learning more and growing my business.....

Welcome Aboard!

Can't go wrong in here. Best knowledge of every aspect of every orafice in the sign business! :peace!:

Are you doing 5 or more banners a day that are over 5'. If not just hemed them with double sided tape. IMO Makes full bleeds look good!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome....I will definitely look into the recommended links. Weather here is not as cold as Alberta, but in the minuses, nevertheless! -20 with windchill.
