Langeman Manufacturing, makers of the new WrapCut Fine Filament Edge Cutting Tape, is pleased to be a new member of the Signs101 forum!

Company Background:

Ever since introducing http://www.langeman.com/WireTrim/what-is-wiretrimWireTrim Edge Cutting Tape in 1996, http://www.langeman.com/WrapCut/companyLangeman Manufacturing has continued to develop and advance its filament-bearing tape invention to solve many related industrial applications where the use of a utility knife was the only previously accepted method for trimming through thick films and coatings.

Just as WireTrim revolutionized the spray-on truck bed liner industry by eliminating the use of a knife for the trimming process, Langeman now introduces WrapCut Fine Filament Edge Cutting Tape as the problem-solving tool and method of trimming for the vehicle wrap industry.

Product Information:

Saves Time and Energy

The method and application is fast and easy! Simply position the tape with the filament-bearing edge along the precise desired line for cutting, apply the vinyl film to the surface as usual and then pull the filament out and through the vinyl. With the fine cutting filament at the very edge of the tape, WrapCut now becomes an applicator’s predetermined trim line, producing a perfect result every time.

No Knife Required

With WrapCut Fine Filament Edge Cutting Tape, you no longer need to worry about the vehicle’s paint job because the fine filament within the tape will produce a clean, smooth cut-line with just an easy pull through the vinyl. The strong flexible tape removes just as easily from under beneath the vinyl for a professional, unblemished finish.

Extreme Flexibility

WrapCut Fine Filament Edge Cutting Tape not only produces impressively straight cut-lines, but also has superior conformability around irregular shapes and angles. The supple tape material unwinds effortlessly from the spool, making it easy to outline the entire project. With a slight tug on the fine filament and a smooth pull the length of your vinyl, the trimming job is complete!

Low Cost-Per-Foot/Meter

At less than eight (8) cents per foot, WrapCut Fine Filament Edge Cutting Tape is truly affordable for use on any-sized project, whether it be a complete vehicle wrap or a partial project. This cost-effective tool will aid each job’s bottom line by reducing the amount of labor required without creating a large added expense.

Welcome from a fellow MM

Now if you could just figure out a way to put the line in between the liner and the print so you could slit the liner...

Welcome! Looks like your product is about the same as "Knifeless Tape" from another company that came on the market about a year ago.

Will be looking into it once we run out the current product we have. The price on yours is far less than half the competition!

I was skeptical of the other product and the price of it really gave some heartburn but we finally gave it a try several months back. Very handy and it is part of our standard install toolbox now. Very very happy to see an alternative that is reasonably priced.
