Help determining size of pan face

bein in the biz for 18 years...dont qualify you to do EVERY TYPE OF SIGN THERE IS....there is the point. seems you are "brokering" this job...and want to make the money without DUE DILIGENCE to get the EXACT SIZE of replacement panels. now since you been in the biz 18 years..YOU DO KNOW, if you dont get it right..........it will come back to bite you in the BUTT????? there is my point......about "brokers." hard to believe after 18 years you would take a bucket truck out there, get right next to the sign and NOT GET EXACT MEASUREMENTS.
heres another option.
IF...you can find out who built/installed the box.........call them for dimensions......iam sure there is a tag on the box..who made it.

Unfortunately, the only 100% way to get actual measurements is to take them out and measure yourself. I've done plenty of surveys where there were tags complete with serial numbers on the cabinet; you call the manufacturer and they have no record or idea of the measurements.

As has been stated several times before, you can't go wrong if you know the visible opening and the cabinet size. It's a helluva lot easier to go oversized on the flange and have to trim than to add inches to a face that is too small. :Big Laugh

the retainers attach to the face and then all goes on the cabinet? I have seen these things too and you can't just pull a side retainer if that's the case. cabinet size, retainer size, VO and the size of the actual pan part would do it for size. they can make the pans so it can be trimmed on site to fit. what really matters is not being to small and making sure the pan part is correct. we have had to go out and retro fit many signs when logos change for national sign companies and all the pans were over sized and had to be cut on site to fit. works well
