frank fellers lets his ego take over by putting his face all over his catalog 3m does it by taking all our money. we have been buying direct from 3M for 20+ years and they do this every year. sometimes twice a year and they don't care. they are so big and offer so many products that are needed it doesn't matter people will pay. we use a ton of 3M adhesive and we have no choice it's speced on the drawings for all military and gov. jobs. i will say this they do give you a quality product but at a high price

I thought government project specs can't require a single "brand" be used but a "description of product". Example...they lawsuit between 3M and Avery long ago was about the reflective process of their vinyl and funding had to have the option for other similar products rather than just calling for a specific product by brand.
All government bids for going to a single company because of specs calling for it is a huge no no.

10% seems kind of high, are you sure your vendors didn't decide to up their price on MMM as well? Avery or one of my former vendors tried to pull 4% on me last year and ultimately they decided they could absorb it to get 30% of their sales back.
