3M struck with the increase. Our incrase was going to be about 130 per kit
good thing my vendors ate most of it. 3M is now just pissing the vendors off.. It's sad.

uh about 6-8 months ago. and it was a massive increase.

I thought government project specs can't require a single "brand" be used but a "description of product". Example...they lawsuit between 3M and Avery long ago was about the reflective process of their vinyl and funding had to have the option for other similar products rather than just calling for a specific product by brand.
All government bids for going to a single company because of specs calling for it is a huge no no.

not sure what the law or regulation on this is but we do a ton of military work and most drawings spec 3m adhesive. the drawings are also from the 70's . doesn't matter much we use the 3m adhsive and charge for it. also some of the drawings actually spec the companies approved to do the jobs
