............ does one have to travel to get decent Fireworks ??

Also, how far off the beaten path ??

I have GPS, so I can probably find just about anything and I'd like to take a drive with my wife this weekend and this sounds like a neat goal.

Us Jersey folk drive to PA to get fireworks - take 95 S until you see the big "fireworks" billboards - probably your best bet ;)

Gino a Keystone fireworks opened up along rt 30 in Lancaster recently. According to their sign and web site they have the good stuff, but I'm not sure how since that stuff isnt legal. I have not been in it yet. It's up the street from the Rockvale outlets.

Have they put guidelines on fireworks there now? That was one of my favorite things about going to PA during the summer. In AZ they were illegal to have. Still are for most things. Only thing you could have was a fricken sparkler.

Now they allow small ones in the state but they are illegal in the city I live in. Can't be in the City limits and can't even have a sparkler lit in the city.

We here in Georgia shoot guns, but we used to travel to TENNESSEE.
They changed the law here and now we just go to the parking lots of various businesses and they make you sign a waiver that you WILL NOT set off in the state of Georgia. I promised not to.

For as long as I can remember you could only get fountains, sparklers and that kind of stuff. Nothing that shoots(bottle rockets, roman candles, mortars .etc) or blows up (firecrackers, m80s .etc). Gino I looked at the Keystone website again maybe they don't have the Really good stuff but better than I thought we were allowed to buy.

NO where... in PA can you find the good stuff, unless you know someone.

The Goddess and I, just had a a very trying week, last week and now that she's getting back to normal, we thought we'd take a two day ride or something and use getting 'Fireworks' as the excuse to go and get away.

I thought maybe in Virginia or something. Maryland and Delaware are only a tad above PA's laws in this arena.

Chicago.... I'm not looking for bazookas or hand grenades.... just more than the usual sparklers and fizzily things. I want some loudness and sky-riding rockets or boom-booms.

we got some here in
Michigan that is incredible. IT is pro level stuff. Mortars that fire 150 ft in the air and so loud is shakes the windows.

Definitely not Virginia. Sparklers are high risk here :)

South Carolina as far as I know. I don't recall ever buying the good stuff in North Carolina.

Yeah, this is basically what I was afraid of. Maybe we'll just go to a casino for the weekend and gamble til we drop, get a room and come home the next day. Forget the frickin' fireworks.

:ROFLMAO: Can ya tell we had a couple of fantastic weeks business-wise ??

I think I know a guy.... an old customer that might just have the answer.................
