It's really easy.
I clamped my low-vac lines so they wouldn't loose any pressure and leak ink, but really if you are above the service station, leaking a little ink isn't the end of the world.
Then, you remove the two screws that hold in the solenoid, pop it out, and then put the new one in. Takes about 20 minutes.
