I have a test print somewhere in the spooler and will definitely post the 8-10 pass results for comment.
As I mentioned above, when we print at 10-12 pass, it looks like it is trying to throw down too much ink. Instead of having a consistent dot pattern, there are sprays of ink. Likely temperature related, since it is always a little hotter than I like in South Carolina. But, I have not been able to take the time to isolate these variables.
I would love to take the time to build exact profiles for our printer, our environment, etc. I know it is something we need to do; But I am too busy being in the wrong business. With our current volume and staffing, we are just trying to keep up with production needs and learning to build profiles in Caldera is not in the scope.
But, if we can save 25-50% print time, this will definitely help.
