i1 Xtreme Problems

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my i1. I have tried using the online support from xrite and lodged trouble tickets but I haven't had a response in over a week.

My diagnostics tests fail at the lamp test stage. Further if I try to use the i1 in versaworks etc I get an error due to it not being able to calibrate.

This is a brand new package I bought about 3 weeks ago.

I've tried 4 different computers. Tried all the usb ports. I even purchased a usb hub with external power. All the diagnostics run the same way.

Can anyone shed any light on my problem short of me returning the package?

The white tile is 'married' to each i1 Pro unit at the time of manufacture. As you have experienced, if the white tile is damaged (or in this case dirty), it becomes pretty useless.

Glad to hear that you got it sorted out.

I just read that and was gonna tell you to clean the tile!..Don't worry about it, happens more often than you think..we've all been there..

Didn't occur to me it being brand new. Live and learn I guess :)
