Illustrator to Flexi gives multiple masks

I have tried a search for this topic but not found a exact response. So here goes, sorry if it has been already covered.
When I take an illustrator file that I have created and bring it into Flexi, I invariably get multiple masks added. Is there a way to select all masks in Flexi and in one foul swoop remove all of them? Or is there a way to import a illustrator file without their added masks? Thanks

I haven't used Illi in a while but it used to have a 'flatten artwork' option in the layers menu that did the trick for opening in flexi.

That's probably your best bet.
If you are unable to do that, you can hit "D" while in Flexi and it will bring up the Select By Attributes tool and you can select the masks from there (it's a great shortcut tool for selecting multiple items).
