I almost can't see to type. Very touching... reminds me of my nephew who is a Marine and leaves next week on his 3rd deployment to Afghanistan... leaving behind his 9 month old son and wife. I don't know if I could've done it when my kids were young. Thanks for posting this.

I have a 9 year old son, and when I have to go out of town for 2 or 3 days to wine and dine clients I miss him more than I ever thought I could miss anything. He runs into me like a little freight train when I come home - there is no way I could leave him for months or years at a time.
