Importing illy files into flexi 7.5

Does anyone know of a good way to import illustrator cs3 files into flexi? I've tried .eps, but keep getting errors.

As an .eps? I have tried as low as ver 8. Running cs3 on mac if that matters.

Maybe! Does the new version handle these files better?

I just use it for cutting vinyl and I am starting to use it as a pass thru to enroute for cutting digital contours on our cnc.

This is where the problem is showing up.

is everything converted to outlines or you could try to save it as a pdf. i can't even open cs3 files with cs2.

To my surprise I was able today to open a CS3 EPS (or CS4 ... not sure which) file in my Illustrator CS2. I tried a variation on Eric, The Vector Doctor's tip for PDF files. I simply used the place command on an open page and it came in perfectly.
