I know there are a lot of Daige haters out there, but the new machine looks like it has fixed a lot of the shortcomings and issues the older machines had. For $2000 I get a 55" machine, stand, foot pedal and free shipping. The videos look pretty straight forward. I'm definitely tempted...
Since Seal came out with the Base62 there are a lot of used Base54's floating around for decent pricing.I'm looking for a laminator that is not going to break the bank ( if that's possible ). My printer is 54". The seal Base is a great looking machine but can I find one that won't be so expensive and still give good results. What are your opinions &/or suggestions. Thanks all.
Hey Luggnut, How do you like the Enduralam? We have a Ledco, but we are looking to possibly add a second laminator to the shop.
I'm currently in the same situation. For now the BS gets me by, but it would be nice to have a machine always set up and ready to go. Right now, I just can't justify buying a top end machine, so I've been looking at used Royal Sovereigns which seem to run anywhere form $2500-$4000 depending on age and condition. Also, the new version of the Daige Solo looks like a decent machine when you consider the price and the fact I am not a high volume shop.
