This procedure mentions to use a firewall.
Yes, every one must have a firewall. However XP has a one way firewall. We need a two way firewall to protect our machines. That is incoming and outgoing junk.


And then,, Do not open unknown email especially if it is one of those e-cards from someone unknown. Doing so could get you a dose of Smitfraud.

And, do not use IE and Outlook. No way no how. These are well known virus and trojan vectors.

Yep. I like Zone Alarm, also. However, I don't believe the free version works on a network.
