Is the Google spell checker spying on me?

I just noticed that when I use the Google spell check feature, that my internet connection icon turns to active when I use it.
So, being that they are the biggest info vaccuum in the universe..are they reading and storing the info when I use that feature???

Google tracks... EVERYTHING its what they do.

Sure they are. Like he said above, its what they do. While I don't use the spell check feature I use Google just like everyone else. I don't like that that they track me but what ya gonna do?
