ISA in Orlando 2010

Got the vendor list in the mail today. Is Fellers NOT a vendor or was it a typo that they weren't included on the vendor list ? Seems odd since they had numerous booths at the last ISA show ..

I'll be there on Saturday with my crew. I'm not really looking for anything but who knows, I might find something interesting. I know many big name vendors have cut back on trade shows as the economy has hit them too. I was talking with HP and when they do a show, it costs them millions to get there, set up, booths and the booth space, plus expenses for their reps. My guess is it won't be as big as in years past.

I was thinkin about going till I saw it was right during spring break. There will be so many extra people in that town I'd go nuts.

In Florida most spring breakers hit the beach communities.

Did anyone notice that admission is free?

That shows times are tough. Previous years we would have to wrangle free passes from suppliers.

When I tried to register yesterday it says $30 just for Expo. Did you have a coupon code?

I'll be there Thursday - Saturday. We should all wear some Signs101 gear so we can identify other members.

I just looked at the online exhibitor directory and sure enough Fellers isn't listed. I suppose they just don't have the budget this year.

Kraig, the ISA show is always during spring break. Orlando is no busier than normal that time of year. Just be sure and book a room well in advance of the show if you want to be near the convention center.

I've never been charged admission. Most suppliers will give you a promotion code and that gets you in for free.

Thanks Jamie! I'd really like to consider going...but I fear it will be last minute if I were able to work something out. It's always good to get to FL and WRITE IT OFF!

Actually Fellers was not an exhibitor at the 2009 Expo. 2008 was their last year at the show. (Of course, Sergio was very much present at the 2009 Wrap-Off in his then-role at Lowen.) As far as I know (and I don't work much with the exhibitors/manufacturers), Fellers marketing strategy changed significantly and their presence at outside tradeshows was de-emphasized.

As far as the 2010 show, exhibitor numbers are very strong and several companies that were absent in 2009 (or present with a very small footprint) have returned.

I think I'll be there... the 9th is my birthday so I plan on being a lil inebriated at some point.

Dave Drane... I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to get to meet you in person while you are over here... would be an honor :smile:

The rest of ya' I'd like to see too, but Dave is from sooooo far away may be the only chance I get to meet him

And Stacey my birthday is also the 9th. so we can get pist together!!:wine-smi::wine-smi: I am arriving Sunday and having a look around, and picking up a car on saturday morning and leaving to look around the north a bit provided it has stopped snowing! I leave witchita on April 27th.
