That was great Joe! Thanks for all the great info and techniques.

If you guys missed it, sounds like it will be posted on the Corel site shortly. It's well worth seeing.

Inspiring seeing how someone can use this tool to create outstanding artwork.

Thanks you guys. jhill, they will post a recording online at some point, so don't worry.

Apparently there were some audio issues for some people. Did you run into that Phillip?

No audio issues on my end. It went flawlessly.

It was interesting Joe. I've been using Corel for years, but it still amazes me what you can learn about the program.

An example: I was talking to a friend a couple weeks ago and she told me if you double click the rectangle tool, it will create a rectangle background the dimensions of your page, centered on the page.

Such a simple little tool, but so handy!

yeah I use that one all the time. And if you press "p" on your key board whatever you have selected moves to the center of that page.

The new one I learned while hanging out with the folks at Corel in New Orleans last year was that if you select a shape, let's say the fill color of that shape is red, and if you hold the "ctrl" key down and select a different color, let's say blue, it will add 10% of that blue to your red shape. SO you can mix colors on the fly. I never knew you could do that, and now I save so much time using that little trick.

Ha! 2 more to add to my list of tricks!

We should start a separate thread here on this.
