Just getting started

Hi, I am new to this I just ordered a used roland pc-60 printer cutter, I have some basic questions.
What software programs are compatible and which is the best and most affordable for someone just starting?:thankyou:

A good design program to start with is Corel. Older versions are very affordable and it can do just about anything you'll ever need.
If you do some searching in the archives, you may discover that you can "print or cut right to your plotter without any bridge programs too. I'm not 100% sure on printing and cutting, but there's only one way to find out :)
