King Cut 24 Cougar Good Deal? Bad Deal?

I found someone selling this for $350. Experienced members fill me in. Is this a good deal for someone just starting out? How's the cutter itself? I will mostly want to cut basic lettering, logos, and possibly magnet shapes.

now... do a search on this site for "cat cutters" and I believe you will see that nobody suggests them, and many people replace them.
