I scrapped my Seal, because I could not get service.
GBC bought Seal and service in my area is through ACCO.
Begged them for a month and told them I did not care the cost.
I need to get jobs out. They did not give one dam about it.
With no storage space for a dead laminator, recycled metal.
Bought a factory re certified Royal Sov, and it needs adjusting due to shipping
so now I have to pay $100 for a scale and a strap and adjust it myself.
WT FK !
The other laminator that I was looking at was the GFP.
The GFP has swing out spindles like the seal pro series.
and you can opt for slitters. and rear take up.
Loading a full roll of lam on the Roy Sov RSC 6500H is a royal pain in the Arse!
This is basically a shoulder high load. Heat assist goes to 128 deg with no adjustments.
It is either on or off. I use a laser and at 95 deg I turn off the heat.
3m specs cold or heat assist between 90 - 100 deg f.
I simply made a bad choice and if I could do it over The GFP with Top Heat assist
is the way to go.
Mimaki has a 62" Laminator for $5800. It is just ok and has very little space
to work in for loading and off loading. A shorter height profile makes easier loading.
