Need Help Latex 260 banding issues

Hi,

I’m experiencing some banding issues on my Latex 260. Substrate is HP Vinyl Adhesive— using Sai RIP

I have completed a print head cleaning and let the printer warm up with several prints for an hour. Printheads have been replaced recently and calibration performed. I’ve attempted to change the curing heat, increasing passes, but still no avail.

See attached calibration prints, Sai profile as well as some banding examples. The banding occurs severely with blue/cyan and green type prints.

Any suggestions?

What we’ve done so far-

• Printhead replacement
• Printhead cleaning (x4 times)
• Printhead automatic and manual adjustment
• Replaced maintenance kit
• Advance calibration preformed
• Altered heat settings
• Increased number of passes (8,12,16 pass)
• Adjusted substrate advance
• Verified newest firmware of Printer, Sai Flexi 19 Software, and correct ICC profile (HP Permanent Gloss Adhesive)
• Power-cycled printer several times

Still banding on green and cyan colored prints.

It seems to be getting worse. Anybody have any ideas?

On our 300 series we just had to do something called a Line Sensor cleaning. In the documentation is says it can be related to banding. I wonder if the 200 machines have something similar. https://hplatexknowledgecenter.com/storage/app/uploads/public/5bd/71c/796/5bd71c7962280827239833.pdf

We are having a similar issue with blues on our HP latex 335 - we have replaced all print heads, checked for blockages, maintenance cartridge is in good shape & carriage rod has been cleaned and lubed.
For us, lighter blues have always been difficult for this printer but banding like this has not been seen before.
Does anyone know what a next step could be for something like this? Will look into the line sensor cleaning....
