Just Me
I'm going to start by saying she's doing good now...
Yesterday my 2 year old granddaughter drowned in the pool. Blue, not breathing... my other (9 year old) granddaughter found her and pulled her out from the bottom and her sister ran with her to the adults. The pool is enclosed and somehow the baby had gotten in there.
My daughter tried to give her CPR but she was hysterical - it was her baby. My son-in-law gave the baby CPR but was scared of hurting her. One of our "adopted" kids knew CPR too and verbally gave Mark instructions and encouraged him on what to do. They got her breathing before the ambulance got there.
Knowing CPR saved her life. Her mother knew it too... but in a highly traumatizing time like it being her baby... she couldn't do it. So even if you don't have kids... learn CPR. If you have kids... learn CPR. I can't repeat it enough. Go find a class and learn CPR now. Make sure every adult and older child in your house learns CPR. It saved my grandbaby's life...
Like I said - she's doing very well and should be released today. She told her mommy what happened - she remembers falling in the pool (which is a very good sign)... then she told her mommy that after she fell, the white ghost picked her up and carried her. I'm crying even typing this. Our family is truly blessed.
