i am sure i am not the first person to comu up with this one but...
i am running a short run of coro signs 18 x 24 only 10pc so i was thinking of a way to run multi-up. making a jig, use a bigger sheet and cut it down
and then the dim light bulb i have went off. i just tape them together.
i just did 2 up now i am going to try 3. i just run the 24in width through the machine and tape them together. so far so good. i do also have to tape a 4in piece at the end so you don't run out of sheet to feed through.

How are you finding the LEJ-640 for things like Short run Coro?
I was looking at one, but heard it has some problems?

we are running the machine a ton but not for it's traditional use. we mostly run rolls of 10mil polycarbonate and .003" foil. but on the short run coro signs not too bad. anything more than 15-20 and we just silk screen them. running 24x18 1up @ 9min per side, 3up @ 24min per side. it's not a speed demon but it serves it's purpose. on roll materials it's not to bad. i ran some 4ft x 8ft prints on vinyl yesterday took about 35-40min each. 4ft x 8ft sintra boards took almost an hour to print 1 sheet 1 side. we don't do too much of that stuff so we can live through that. the quality is great

I guess I should have a look at it again. I'm pretty limited space-wise, so a large machine won't work and Quality is more important than quantity for most of my work.
Can it take a full 4x8 sheet and bleed off?

you can do a bleed but you have to put something on the edges so it won't print on the bed. really what you are doing is tricking the machine. you just set it up to print bigger than 4x8 and then it will print what you need. let me know if you need any other info. it may not be the best machine but for the price, size and what it does it's great.
i am just guessing but i think a full 4x8 with bleed that may take about 90min to print
