Get with the time they are LED's, last way longer and cheaper to run/operate. They also help save the climate:jr:

If only Shelby Electric made LED's, then our great grand kids could tell us if they last longer than proper bulbs. The little fellow up above is a pretty accurate rendition of the colour qualities of many LEDs these days.

I never said they are better just newest:tongue:
Actually you did say they were better: Get with the time they are LED's, last way longer and cheaper to run/operate. They also help save the climate
How is that not better? We are reading what you type... not what is in your head

Technically though, they don't seem to last any longer and with fixtures, when the driver goes bad or the diodes shit the bed, you have to replace the whole damn thing. Then you end up with mismatched fixtures and more trash. Energy wise, a 4' 4 bulb T5HO is gonna give you the same light as a 240w 4' LED and the T5 is 216 watts. At least that's what I've seen. Aren't circuit boards also considered to be considered hazardous waste too?
