Anyone using LXI Expert Version 6.5?

I so, can you tell me if it will IMPORT DWG files??

No longer have 6.5 installed but pretty sure it will but have had problems using DWG files for the longest time... Seems like a version issue similar to issues with AI files.

I would recommend having the designer export as DXF or preferably EPS. These files import better into Flexi based products... Otherwise, look into purchasing Corel 12 or X3.

I hav'nt received the program yet. Bought it through Ebay for the sole purpose of importing my old cad files and exporting them to .eps.
I took a guess that since it is a Scanvec product that it would import .dwg.

Version Conflict more than likely.

I have ha trouble opening DWG files in sign programs if they open they do not have all the info. I have tried to open engineering type of drawings created in AutoCad and MicroStation.

Autocad version is the conflict...have them save it down to Autocad Release 14. If you need it saved down, shoot me a PM.

Some additional info: Flexi version 7.5.2 listed the following under the "Import" option:

Autocad 13/14/2000 - dwg
Release 14 - dxf

How the file was created in Autocad will also affect how much you will have to clean up once the file is imported into Flexi.
