LXI Master Plus

I have LXI Master + and it is supposed to be able to open CrelDraw ver.8 or earlier files. When I try to open these they do not open nor can I import them. Any suggestions:

I have that and cannot open corel draw files. I have to export corel draw files as ai or eps and import into LXI

Thats what I've been doing but they state that they can open them! The version I have is 7.7v5, just wondering if there a problem or what.

They lie...mostly...

It depends on just what objects are in the Corel file. If you Save As... and specify cmx exchange format rather than cdr you'll find that it works more often than not. Even then some things, like drop shadows, will disappoint you.

 

[learned the hard way]

If you have both programs on the same computer, you can simply open it in Corel, copy it, and then paste into LXI. It works fine for me.
