Media flanges

Do all Roland users use the media flanges?

I have an SP-300 and I am going to have to either purchase two from Roland or is there another supply house that sells them.

To be honest, I only use them on delicate materials or large, thick rolls.

Hardly ever use them for standard vinyl or banner materials.

We bought several sets and leave them on the most commonly used media.

Definitely a must with large full rolls of banner.

We use them all the time.

We use ours all the time on nearly everything we put through. I think they work great - especially when you can print through a 50 yd roll without even realigning it. It saves a lot on headstrikes, misprints, and spoilage. I just ordered a couple more to replace the old ones from Florida Graphic Supply. I think they may have broke just due to overtightening.

[Sticky Signs]

I only use them for long runs. Say anything over 20'. Helps keep the vinyl from bunching up on the back of the machine.
