Hehe, sounds quite funny. Yes, I know this head related disaster thou. We had two units in our facility but we abandoned them about two or three years ago until recently we decided to rebuild them.We used to have a fleet of 10 JV5-160's. Finally we got to the point where we were replacing heads that equaled the monthly payment on a MS JP4 which would match the output of 4 JV5's.
Nope mate, the only way to adapt them is to literally rebuild the machine. We replaced almost everything - heads, carriage, all the elecronics and software... So basically the only body, chassis and some mechanics left. But it definitely worth it thou.Do you have to change the manifold on the XP600 to fit the JV5?

I'm not sure about per day, but double headed machine prints about 12-14 m2 (130-150 ft2) per our. https://radikal.ru/video/JRo9I653yeqHmmm. Interested in this. How many yards do you print per day? I can't see the rebuild being worth it honestly, but I'd like to learn more about this cause I have 5 retired JV5's in the warehouse and can use one or two as test subjects

For my taste it worth it since we got almost new machine for the price of one with the half original head or so. Since then all the consumables for this printer cost almost nothing, it's the way simpler and flexible since now we can choose any color set or switch the broken head channels off.
Well now we are rebuilding the second one from 2x to 4x headed system.
Just bought all the needed parts, replaced all the original printers' intestines with the new ones, etc. Easy))))I'd love to learn more about how you did this...
