Moving a printer, truck or trailer?

I am going to be moving a sj-540 about 10 miles. I was wondering if I should use my pickup truck or bring along the enclosed trailer. Last time I had to move a printer I used a van so any advice would be welcome.

i would say enclosed is always better but if you have to use the pick up just wake sure you wrap/cover everything real good to keep dust and road debris out. which ever way you go make sure it's tied down good so it don't move around too much.

and don't forget to lock the head down.

remove the waste ink bottle..didn't think about that, that would be a mess!

If it fits in your pick up, that'll do just fine. Just tarp it good and tight.

Trailer for sure or a van. I have the head lock clamps for that printer if you dont. I'd be happy to send them to you for you to borrow.
