Mutoh and Flexi "Cannot Open Port"

Seems like every time I throw more than 1 print job in my queue, I have to reset that InterCon SEH box that connects the Mutoh to my computer. Sometimes I also have to reset Flexi PhotoPrint 10 to get it to let me send the file to the printer again.

Any ideas on how I can be rid of this communication issue?

Is Connect via TCP/IP in the Preferences>Tools>RipPrint checked?

Do you have to reset IP of the SEH?

Hello! I'm sorry I did not reply earlier. I thought this had been fixed, but I am still having problems. I believe it is checked, and I know that I at least have to reset the SEH box and maybe even the printer before it will start working again. Definitely a pain!

It's directly connected with a crossover cat-5 cable.

I just got it back up and running. I believe these are the steps I took to get it to finally talk again :)

  1. reset the SEH box
  2. reset the printer
  3. refreshed the SEH software
  4. reset Flexi PhotoPrint
  5. Reset the SEH box

Reminds me of the days when I used PC's, and I had to do a million steps to get anything to talk. Oh wait, I am using a PC ;)
