In dire need of Mutoh 1204 maintenance manual

Glad to find you.
I have a 3 year old Mutoh 1204 and am having serious problems.

Could you possibly email me a copy too, I would be most grateful...not sure what else to do.

1204 vj mutoh
ive replaced the maintenance station, pump ,damper heads, o rings on damper heads and at back of hose before ink cartridges i am using bulk ink system 440mL cartridges.... the ink will not prim and is running back into the cartridges , i also have took head off and slowly pushed cleaning solvent very gently through each color hose and no indication of clog.... ive also did the same for the ink lines with a plastic syringe

I too am having a printer issue with my 1204, and also wanted to perform some long overdue maintenance. I'm generally fairly good at figuring out stuff on my own, but would really appreciate a copy of the service manual before I make a costly mistake.

Mutoh VJ-1204 Service Manual

Greetings fellow printers!

I know that this is an OLD post, but I'm in a predicament and need help. I'm about to disassemble our MUTOH VJ-1204 and make several needed repairs, and would feel much more comfortable with a service manual in front of me. Does anyone have one to send? Even if I need to purchase it, I will.

I don't know if others have had this trouble or not, but on my VJ-1204, the rubber pressure rollers that hold down the media got soft and gummy and started to leave gooey black stuff on prints. Mutoh let me know the part number is DF-49053. I did a search and found a company in Belgium, Digiprint Supplies, that sells a set 68 of them (it takes 64 to replace them all) for about a dollar each when buying the lot. FedEx shipping to the States is under $25.00. Replacing those will be my first project with my service manual.
