This "overspray" issue is static problem, as was mentioned before. Never seen answer to the question about humidity level? 40 is bare minimum, but 50 would be better. Also, you can buy anti static kit from your Roland Dealer, i believe it costs around 180ish.
I have no idea what the roland anti static kit is, but when there is static using the offset presses, we use anti static tinsel. Never used it on the Roland but could be worthy a try? $20 price range.

It's not the dampers. All of your prints look like they are slightly banding from what I see...so do a high quality print.
On the black overspray, I'm with the folks who thinks it's static.

Not sure how to do that, if ya let me know i'd be happy to give that a tryWhat about the fill test? Be useful to know if all channels are behaving the same. I'd also double check the heads for lint. I've run into problems where it took 3 manual cleans to find a piece of fuzz hanging off. It's dark down there and you're looking for things that don't reflect a lot of light.
