Not only that, Dodge and GM have been using alloys and aluminum on "swinging" parts since about 2016. i.e. doors and tailgates are getting less magnetic every year.

Tell them to letter their truck like a real contractor, lol. Lots of places down here you won't get past a guard shack with a set of magnets. The other side of it is a lot of HOA's will not let you park a commercial marked vehicle at your home. Or your boat for that matter.

Chevy has already moved to Aluminum doors. Dodge has recently moved to aluminum on the tailgate and already uses and aluminum hood. They'll be using aluminum on the doors in the next few years too.

Has there been any improvement or workaround for this issue?

We have a sub-contractor that is needing to change out who he "works for" on regular bases and reuse as needed

EasyDOT or Micro-Suction is our choice for these vehicles. For micro-suction we just cut the liner an inch wider than the print and laminate it with a thick laminate to make it easier to handle.
