I say scrap the 30" plotter and get a 60" graphtec... if you end up cutting lots of stuff you will want the bigger one anyway
well maybe don't scrap it, but you will need two work horses if you are doing predominately cut vinyl, plus it gives you a back up in case (like right now) your main plotter cr@ps out on you...
