Hello folks,
Great looking site you people have going on here, chalk full of info! Anyway, I am a graphic designer who ended up being a victim of the crappy economy. The fact I was with one company for almost 8 years didn't seem to matter, so I started collecting unemployment, and that got old quick.
I recently bought 3 machines to start my own business. Since I have a strong background in design and vinyl application (I teach an application class at the USSC every year too), I figured digital printing/wrapping would be a good choice to make some money.
The three I now have in my house as of yesterday are:
-Mutoh Valuejet 1604 64" eco-sol
-Royal Sovereign 64" laminator
-Graphtec FC7000-160 plotter
I actually have a graphtec FC2100-120 as well, which is still working at 17 years old, but is not needed anymore obviously.
I bought all three machines from a guy who bought out another sign shop, and didn't need these since he had his own roland printer, lam, etc. Apparently they are just over a year old.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from the community here. I'm sure I will have many questions.
