I think the other one is so much more powerful of an image. it would look great on a card, shirt, truck or website. things that bleed to the edge gives a feeling of something bigger and more that what is seen.

my two cents: I think the oval is a very good idea but also feel the shape and the figure are off, misshapen. he looks a little humpback and the oval is smooth and round. rjpjr had a good solution. but here's a couple of thoughts. (1) why not crop him off with the oval, no feet, mostly head and sexy beak. that said (2) I'd like to see him layered on a muted colored oval. I think it will be very fresh.

Also liked John's egg idea. It shows new ideas and fresh thinking... if that's your deal
