also holding a mouse gave me hand cramps and probably would lead to carpal tunnel. It is not a natural way of working with your hand all day. Holding the pen has almost no fatigue

this thread is old but

I just opened my new BORND brand silent mouse (wireless) and this thing is actually ALMOST completely silent.

I'd recommend anyone sick of paying attention to the clicks, get this.

I have a clicky button on my trackball at work - but at home, we had to buy our son a clickless mouse. We make him keep his computer in the den. We would be watching a movie and be driven CRAZY by the constant click-click-click of his mouse, especially during quiet scenes. Of course, if that is the only thing to drive us crazy, we definitely count ourselves lucky!
