Omega 7.0 export selected brings entire job area

Good afternoon Sign Gurus!
I am having a weird anomoly since installing Omega 7.0 onto my new computer with windows 11 pro. When we output a selected part of a job (shift + f11) to plot, it is bringing the entire job area with it. Not all the other shapes, just the outside parameters with a tiny little shape in the middle (the thing I exported). When we hit reduce frame in plot (spacebar) it has the shape outputted, and then a ton of panels to incorporate the job space. The only workaround we have found is to copy and paste the shape we want to cut into a new page so it is the only item, and then output that. In Plot, it still opens with an oversized frame, but when we hit reduce frame it brings it to just the shape like normal. I thought it might be windows 11 but I have confirmed that isnt what is the issue. Working with a 4.0 dongle, 7.0 dongle and envision 375. Could it be as simple as reinstalling everything in the right order, the usb to paralell patch, or something else I missed? I am pretty savvy with this stuff having been working with gerber since my first supersprint, but this one has me stumped. I have tried reinstalling the plotter, but I have not tried a full uninstall of everything. Hoping someone else has encountered this, looking to avoid what is apparently an $80 phone call for what we can workaround now, but I would like to get it working correctly at some point! Thanks for any insight anyone can offer!

Good Morning,
You say you are using Shift+F11, which is output all. Try selecting the objects you want to output, then use Shift+F12, which is output selected.
Perhaps there is some small object in the file that is being sent to Plot when you use Shift+F11.
Good luck!

That's what I meant lol, sorry about that, I wish it were that simple!

Let me know if you want to send screenshots / file / or screenshare so I can take a quick look.
See below. Its super weird, I have been using this software since the beginning, and have never encountered it. I think I may have to try uninstalling & reinstalling it was an upgrade from 4 and the only thing I can think is I didn't do something correct when sequencing the dongles on the install/setting up the paralell to usb patch. It is not our primary platform, so the workaround isn't the end of the world when we have to do it, i am just more puzzled about it and do not like when software gets the best of me!

1. In your first screenshot, you have "15 C. LLOYD" selected, but in the 3rd screenshot in Plot it shows "05 A. MEUNIER". Did you show 2 different scenarios or did Composer send the wrong item to Plot when you used Shift+F12 Output Selected?
1A. Also, in your first screenshot with "15 C. LLOYD" selected, the Composer selection size shows 2.610 x 14.161"
2. In your 2nd screenshot with the blank Plot screen and reduce frame turned off, the PLOT material usage at the bottom of the PLOT screen shows 429967.305x42, but only 1 repeat and 1 panel. This is obviously incorrect in any scenario, but especially for an enVision 375 for a job that should only use 2.6" x 14.1" of material.
2A. Also in your 2nd screenshot, Reduce Frame ON should reduce the material usage.
3. In your 5th screenshot, the material usage is again incorrect, expecially with reduce frame on.

You can certainly try reloading the software, but I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that this is a bug.
Try this:
- select the entire file and copy / paste the entire job into a new Composer screen.
- In the new Composer file, use Edit>Convert to Objects
- Save as a different file name.
- Try to output selected again to see if this slaps some sense into the file!
- You can also try the above steps without "edit>convert to objects" if you need to maintain the ability to edit the text.
Good luck again!
