Other ways to print LexEdge?

We received a sample from a customer who we regularly do Gerber LexEdge decals for. We usually print them with our Edge1/2 here, but the Edge has a limitation of 11.79" wide for printing... and this sample decal is printed on what looks like an Edge (solid colors reverse printed in layers) but is 12.25" wide.
It was then laminated with 3M 468 like usual and plotter-cut to precise locations so it has to be cut with a sprocket-fed plotter like an HS15...

Is there any other process to print this type of decal?
I cannot think of any similar machine besides the Gerber Maxx, but I thought those were all dead. (we sold ours YEARS ago)

Is it printed to the edge of the material? We do decals that are larger than 11.8", but they can't have any printing larger than that.

Yes, they are printed with BOTH black and flood coat white extending past the plotted edges at 12.375" wide. (x 14.375" tall)

There is another thermal printer that will print at that size but the name escapes me, someone will know. Very expensive

PC-60 and 600 printed up to 23" wide with better resolution than the Gerbers. I'm sure there are still some of those around. Sure wish we still had ours. :frustrated:

another way to look at that project (that i have done for larger dashboard/ control panels), is to print on your normal vinyl and top laminate it w the lexan type media. we have digitally printed files, then used a 5mil and even 10mil polycarb laminate, thru cut on the plotters, and works like a charm.

nope I'm pretty should it's manufactured in Korea, about £60K to buy but prints at that size.

FWIW, I wanted to post my solution up on here in case anyone else ever gets into this situation:
Print the white colors that are able to be printed and then I laminated the last (background color) of the decal onto the lexedge with 220 vinyl, and then laminated the double-sided adhesive onto the roll. it worked quite well even though it adds an extra step.
