Have HP Latex printer and am making an outdoor backlit sign for the first time. I am using a translucent 4mil UV vinyl printed and applied to .177 white polycarbonate but am getting some bubbling. Are these the correct materials? I am worried about using Acrylic for outdoor application (and I have polycarb stock and want to use it). The bubbles do not appear to be from deris and I think it would be too soon to see anything from out-gassing. If they are not debris related bubbles any advice on getting rid of them after the fact? like heat gun or something?
I do have some clear acrylic but am concerned that using clear may show hot spots from the LED modules behind.
Looking for some guidance, advice, recommendations... thanks.
