pan face removal

nashvillesigns

Making America great, one sign at a time.
i have three cabinets to change out the standard pan faces. Not to sound like a moron, but, there are NO bolts, screws or any type of fasteners on the cabinet edges. the cabinet in anodized aluminum 4" box.
My question is, how exactly do i get these out? they are 3'x7' in size..
(so, should i hire Tom Riddle?)
thanks
chris

Sounds like you may have to remove from the top. There has to be some screws somewhere. It will be more aggravating, but 3' x 7' won't be too bad. Or it may be a hinge type, that's aggravating too.

Once I had 2 8' x 12' faces my installer had to remove and reinstall from the top about 20' up in the air. He had to go 30' just to get it to slide it on a windy day. I felt sorry for the guy that day.

face might hinge out and come completely apart for face removal. Ive had a few like that, and let me tell you, they are a PAIN to deal with

ya, what he said. The holder strips are strongly spring loaded and often been too long since they were last operated. That makes them stiff. It may be a top loaded can. But, like the unicorn I have never personally observed one.
