I have been asked by a tax company to print a viewthru copy of a $hundred bill on the back of a car. When I try, the bill area comes out black. I have tried different ways. Microsoft pops up saying that versa works has encountered a problem So I restarted the versa works, I was able to continue. But it prints black for the money. I have noticed on the versa works, that under the mark label, it is disabled.
Does the government have a say about what I am printing?

Most programs today will not let you print a 100 bill.........I think all the scanners sold today will not even let you scan one.............

I believe its security in the note itself. If I recall correctly they wont even photocopy.

the same sort of security was also on UK cheques as well.

If I remember correctly, fold the bill. Scan half of it. The re-fold and scan the other half. Merge them in photoshop. Do some slight changes to the bill, and that might work.

Not sure, but I tried to do a "money helmet" once, and yeah, PITA.

Look for a vector version of a $100 bill. One that's not precise, just something that's similiar. Could save you some headaches.

Adobe products has a secret algorithm within to prevent you from copying bank notes. It is not illegal to print notes as long as they are much larger or much smaller. (check the laws)

Also, there is a utility around to remove this bank note protection from adobe products.
