Plastic sign material..

Folks,

Looking for a supplier of 10 x 14, 7 x 10, 18 x 24 sizes of plastic sign substrates. I use Grimco for my alum plates, but they don't carry pre-cut plastic ones.

Any advice on who does carry them?

And no, I am not interested in buying bigger sheets and cutting them down.

Thanks!

That's not a lot, so if you don't have the means or room to cut them yourself, why not have them drop shipped to someone who does and pay for cutting services in your area, thus saving you extra S&H costs ??

What thickness and type of plastic are you even looking for? I'd say that's the most important part of the discussion.

Good question, the goal is to mount lam'd vinyl signs on.

SUBSTRATE: 0.04” (1mm) Low Density / Semi-Rigid PVC Plastic
MOUNTING: 0.20” diameter holes in each of 4 cornersHoles offset 0.25” from adjacent edgesMounting hardware not includedCORNERS: 0.25” Radius Corners

Thanks!

1mm is ridiculously thin. Are you sure you want that thin of material? Also, 1mm is thin enough to easily cut it with an razor. Any reason you're opposed to that?

rossmosh, thanks for the feedback/guidance, I have not used plastic for our signs yet, a customer asked if we could do them on plastic and I'm now searching for a supplier and what exactly we would need.

For our alum signs, we buy them from Grimco, .040 blanks. What would you recommend in a plastic backing?
