Fred, I am by no means a web guru but isn't it better to have addtional links to help with your positioning? Also does it make a difference in the way the spiders & bots crawl this site whether or not people have there site listed in there signature?

I don't honestly know about the SEO aspects of the signatures. I do know that the rules were put in place to add value to being a merchant subscriber here and to stifle the self-promoters flying beneath the radar.
