print on 1 roland & cut on another?

if i print on my xc can i cut on my vp?
in theory it should work right, if i am using versaworks for both and i set up the files the same way in each program it should just read the dots and cut?

I wonder if feed rate could cause any changes between printers. But if it reads all crop marks it should work this into the cutting.

Logic says it should work fine.

We print on our xj-540 (print only) and cut on gx 500 through versa work great and I love when they are both running at the same time

Flexi does the reg marks for me. Its a piece of cake once you get it set up in production manager.
