Discussion Printable Reflective

Looking for suggestions for printable reflective material that will adhere to plastic. I have a job where I need to apply reflective to the doors and box of a Polaris Ranger for a police department. I did use Oracal 5600 and used an adhesion promoter to help it stick, however that did not last long.
Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Might be worth a look. When you speak with them, be sure to order the digital print grade stuff. It makes all the difference. It's also some of the least expensive stuff on the market.

We use the nikkalite as well for a lot of reflective. Not sure how much more aggressive it is over Oracal or even 3m.

Can it be prismatic? If so try the Avery Dennison T-2500D product, that stuff sticks extremely well.

If you have already tried reflective, you may have to do a "flame treatment" to the areas.

another option is you can "layer" materials.
try a high tack film, we have good sucess with Substance Media, then lay the reflective on that

I love the Nikkalite reflective, they have a digital one now with air egress too. Way cheaper than the others out there.

Stopped using Nikkalite years ago, due to it being so brittle. Have they fixed that problem ?? Heaters would make it tunnel and you'd get bad cuts and also when weeding, it just tore like crazy.

I have had good luck with it. I use it for die cut labels and haven't had any issues.

Nikkalite works really well on our large and small latex and Hybrid UV. We use it all the time.

Can you just print on your reflective and then laminate it to a low energy vinyl?

Ditto on the flame treatment on any poly plastic.
