Are you talking about the 3m metallic vinyl?Metallized PVC chrome usually works ok with solvent printing. Like someone said already, RTape chrome is good. You have to be careful with it though. Metallized polyester chrome (Oracal 351) is a disaster with solvent printing.

I am looking for something cheap for indoor use, UV printable.
That sounds like a nightmare. How did this job turn out?No, i've printed on that.

We've actually decided how/what to do. We are going to wrap the car in chrome and them print on clear and place it over the chrome wrap.
I mostly make indoor stickers, so I don't need anything used for vehicle wraps. I do occasionally need outdoor material as well, but for this specific job any bargain basement silver will do! Preferably 48" to 60" wide. I have used R-Tape before, looking for cheaper, maybe I need to import from China!all depends on what your idea of cheap is...haha but if you get a polyester chrome materials it's cheaper than the r-tape versions. polymet brilliant metalized polyester film is one
