Pulling the trigger on a VP540

Looking hard at a Roland VP540. Uses if I can find the right one. Not looking at going into huge debt for a new machine if I can find a GOOD used one. Overall how do you guys like this machine? I'm looking at doing Tee transfers, small stickers, banners, and photo posters.
Thanks for the input!

Thanks....are there any querks or
problems areas I need to look for? IT seems in my reading lots of models have little things to watch out for.

You can print out a system report on the machine and look at its life and what not. I would definitely watch it run and cut make sure everything is calibrated otherwise you will have to do it when you get it to your shop. I have had mine a year and a half and love it. Very little maintenance.

for the most part you just keep it clean and you are good to go. similar to your car just do the regular maintenance and you shouldn't have any problems. we had to replace the capping staions and do a pump up grade but for 9 years of pretty solid use i would say that's not bad.

Had mine for 6 years now. very rarly have to make service calls. Wouldn't say it was the best for really small decals but print/cut is nice when you aren't super busy.

Of course check the test print that thereäs nothing wrong with it. Otherwise a good, solid and reliable machine, and also easy to find parts for it.
