quick help please roland stuck on deleting data

had to cancel a print and now xj540 is stuck on deleting data won't respond to anything should i turn it off?

i don't have that machine but other rolands and when this happens or any other non-responding action i just flip the switch in the back and re-start with no problem

yeah, agreed.....most of the time a tech will tell you to flip the main switch at the back so it reboots........usually clears any issues like that.

Didn't get these in time just shut off with sub power and it seemed to work fine... would we be better off / safer turning the main power off in the future?

have always been told to turn the sub power off......then the main power, leave it for a few seconds and then turn it all back on, seems to clear whatever it is going on 99 percent of the time.
