Update, for what it's worth....... just got a call from the regional manager. I'm supposed to take the base back in and he wants to try to see if he can get it to work. If not, he's gonna give me $85.00 cash out of the drawer on the spot.

Sounds like a plan to me.

get a real tree. A small one. Keep it alive until spring. Plant it in a reasonable palce and each your you wil ahve a new tree. Soon after a lifetime you will have a nice grove.

Ha, just got back. :ROFLMAO:

Got there and they figured out something went wrong on their end. Now he says he's only allowed to give me up to $50 cash back. I asked, why ?? That's not what you told me on the phone. Well, that's all I'm authorized to give at this point. So, get someone who can authorize the $79.00 + tax I paid and we'll call it even. Well, that will take another day or two. I looked at him and said, if I took something worth $75 off your shelf, and threw it at the wall and broke it..... would you only take $50 to replace it ?? Would you call security for my actions ?? Why don't you take responsibility for breaking my tree and pay me ?? I left and told him I'm done going back & forth to his stores. I'm going over his head..... all for breaking my $75 tree.

Real trees ?? I have enough trees on my property... both here at the shop and at home. I don't need anymore. Fake tree is what I have for the shop and that's how it's gonna remain...... once I get reimbursed from Radio Shack.​

Your better off calling or emailing corporate. http://www.radioshackcorporation.com/contact.php with the problem. That way you can also report the regional rep how many times you have called and left messages with no return response. I'm sure radio shack is struggling with all the big boys like best buy and walfart and want to keep you as a customer.

or if your on twitter, call them out on it in a message with your problem so all can see :)

something like "well, i'm done with @RadioShack. They sold me the wrong AC adapter and now my tree won't work! " something to that effect. Heard it worked for someone to lower their Time Warner Cable bill... just a thought
